RGD32 moved to 2021

Given the continuous global health threat posed by the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Local Organizing Committee decided to postpone once again the 32nd International Symposium on Rarefied Gas Dynamics (RGD32) to the summer of 2022. We reached this decision after careful consideration of many factors.

The new dates for RGD32 are July 4th-8th (Mon-Fri), 2022.

We again apologize to all invited lecturers, special session organizers, and to all those who had hoped to participate in our meeting next year. We also appreciate your patience and support in this unprecedented time of difficulty, and wish you strength and good health, and hope to welcome all of you in summer of 2022.

We will resume the call for abstracts and registration on Dec 1st, 2021 at the RGD32 website.

In the meantime, independent of the RGD32-2022 symposium, the Local Organizing Committee along with the International Advisory Committee (IAC) are preparing a pre-RGD32 online workshop in the summer of 2021. The essential purpose of this workshop is to bring together the RGD community online. This 3-day (about 10 hours in total) workshop in the summer of 2021 will cover several real-time invited lectures and real-time Q&A sessions for pre-recorded oral presentations (with no proceeding publication). The details of this workshop will be announced in the early months of 2021.

Please also visit the RGD32 website for updates.
