In recognition of services to the Rarefied Gas Dynamics Symposia, retiring members of the International Advisory Committee become members of the Board of Honour. Someone who has not served on the Advisory Committee, but who has made extraordinary contributions to the Symposia, also may be named to the Board of Honour.
